Welcome to Foston Primary School Class One

Part time and full time places available in nursery from 3 years.

Welcome to Foston Primary School and to Class One! We are a mixed Nursery and Reception class for children between the ages of 3 and 5. We follow a play-based curriculum rooted in inspiring and creating thrill, investigation and independence within our children. As the class teacher I create objective-led planning based on what the children’s need to learn next and the interests they show, helping to ignite an enthusiasm for learning about the world. We pride ourselves on an inclusive, welcoming and inviting family approach to our classroom environment and school. From this child-led approach to learning our children consistently make good progress and many achieve higher levels across the seven areas of learning. We aim to spark a love for learning, producing happy children who want to come to school.
