Hello, my name is Mrs Moore and I am the Headteacher of the FST Federation of Primary Schools. I love our schools and am passionate about the benefits education in small schools can give to all our children. I love reading, art and history. Out of school I love spending time with my two dogs, Tammy and Wesley, who are both rescue dogs.
Hello! My name is Miss Stringer I like to teach fun, practical lessons such as science and DT. I particularly enjoy leading experiments and I love to take part in all the extreme activities on the school residential to Robin Wood! When I was at school, I enjoyed the challenge of maths and now I am passionate about teaching it. My other hobbies include horse riding, running, going to the gym, shopping and spending time outdoors.
Hello, my name is Vicki Allon and I work across all three schools. I have worked within the federation since 2008, starting at Terrington Primary School, our federated school and moving to Foston in 2017. I have taught across all key stages and lead Collective Worship and RE across the federation. I have two boys of my own and love spending time with my family, enjoying days out and spending many a weekend watching them on the side lines of a usually muddy football pitch.
A big hello and welcome! My name is Zara Midwood and I am the Early Years Teacher at Foston Primary School teaching the children in Nursery and Reception. I have been teaching at Foston for a few years now after completing my final teaching placement at our federate site Terrington Primary School. When not teaching at the weekends I enjoy going on walks, exploring new places and socialising with friends.
Hello, my name is Philippa Scaife and I am the KS1 teacher at Foston Primary School teaching alongside Mrs Richmond. I teach at the school Wednesday to Friday and particularly enjoy English sessions and story times with the children. I also enjoy teaching PE and having fun outdoors with the children. I have previously taught at Stillington school within the Federation where I taught a mixture of Early Years and KS1.
At home I have 2 young boys who enjoy being active outside in all weathers! I enjoy socialising with friends, walks with my family and keeping active by running or Pilates.
A big hello and welcome! My name is Sarah Richmond and I am a KS1 Teacher at Foston Primary School teaching the children in Year 1 and 2 alongside Philippa Scaife. I have taught within the Terrington and Foston Federation now since 2017 and it is lovely to see the children, I have taught in nursery now striving in their learning in Year 6. When not teaching at the weekends I enjoy baking, reading, socialising with friends and exploring new walks in places such as Dalby Forest with my family. I currently have a gorgeous 2 ½ year old toddler at home and another baby on the way.
Hello! My name is Chiu Yip and I am the class teacher of Years 3 and 4 at Foston Primary School. I have always been passionate about English and reading, and find joy in teaching it to children of all ages! My hobbies outside of school include football, watching movies and travelling to places far and wide.
Hello, my name is Matt Marshall and I am the Years 5/6 teacher at Foston Primary School. I enjoy bringing the children’s interests into our lessons and encouraging and developing languages, computing and love of reading, especially poetry. I’ve been at Foston since 2021, originally starting out as a supply teacher.
Outside of school I enjoy baking, quizzing and bouldering and am a huge Eurovision fan.
